BLUDLE

HELP!

Each wonderful shade of blue represents a letter of the alphabet. The lighter the shade, the closer to "A" it is. You get 4 guesses to decode the word. Each time you guess, you will recieve a check/tick for each correctly placed letter.
Correct letters in the wrong place will have no check/tick

This is an approximate representation of the underlying concept:

How to Play & FAQ

How to play

Bludle gives you a hidden 5-letter answer shown only as shades of blue. Use each color's lightness to infer letter order in the alphabet, then submit your best guess. You have 4 attempts to solve it.

Do correct letters show in yellow/green like other games?

No. Bludle uses a check icon for letters in the correct position. Letters in the wrong position stay unmarked.

Is there a best opening guess?

Start with letters spread across the alphabet (for example A, M, T, R, E) to quickly calibrate how each shade maps to letter values.
