Game Rules

Welcome to XY Marks the Spot, a treasure hunt game with a twist!

• Objective: Your goal is to find the hidden treasure on the grid.
• Starting a Game: Choose a difficulty level to start. The grid size will change based on the difficulty.
• Moving: Click on a cell in the grid to move your player to that location.
• Turns: You have a limited number of turns to find the treasure. Use them wisely!
• Hints: Before each move, you'll receive a mathematical hint to help you deduce the treasure's location.
• X+Y Tells you the total number of squares you need to travel.
• |X - Y| Tells you the difference between the Y axis distance and the X axis distance to the treasure.
• Game Over: The game is over when you run out of turns or find the treasure.
